Description

Topics included in the 11+ Maths exam are number and place value; addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division; fractions, percentages, decimals; ratio and proportion; algebra; measurement; geometry (properties and position of shapes, coordinates); statistics .
Non-Verbal Reasoning
Non-Verbal Reasoning (NVR) is one of the least known aspects of the 11 plus exam. It involves problem-solving using shapes, puzzles, and other abstract concepts. It does not require any prior knowledge and can be used to determine a candidate’s potential to think logically and recognize patterns .
